Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with plant leadership at our Delta, Ohio facility. You will drive talent development, culture, and leadership coaching to align people strategies with business goals.

Join a manufacturing environment that values respect, integrity, and continuous improvement; you will lead full-cycle recruiting, workforce planning, and HR data analysis to improve hiring, retention, and engagement across the site.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and influence business decisions.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience using HR metrics and data to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
  • Lead workplace investigations and resolve employee concerns with fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Foster employee engagement through recognition, communication, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and workforce planning to attract and retain top talent.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to improve hiring, retention, and engagement.
  • Support compensation, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
