Duvera Consulting is partnering with a well-established Houston law firm seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with HR leadership while supporting a wide range of functions, with particular emphasis on benefits administration and payroll.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, values employee relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing, reconciliations, and audits using UKG/UltiPro.
• Assist with benefits administration, employee enrollments, eligibility, leave management, and employee inquiries.
• Support employee relations, engagement initiatives, internal communications, and recognition programs.
• Coordinate performance reviews, employee development initiatives, and HR documentation.
• Manage onboarding activities, including background checks, I-9 verification, and new-hire orientation.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and confidentiality requirements.
