Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE to provide a variety of specialized and responsible clerical and technical services in support of division operations including but not limited to the following: responsibility for administratively supporting in the areas of compensation, benefits, employment, handling personnel forms and confidential information. May maintain records on sick leave, vacation, and other absences. To handle all personnel-related inquiries. May compile statistics for management's use. May handle paper flow for periodic reviews. May conduct new employee orientation, perform front line review of employment application, generate ACT documents, manage employee databases and generate reports from databases. To maintain and support departmental goal of providing excellent customer service to all.
(Hourly Rate: $16.50 - $19.71)
Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
