Katapult Network is seeking an entry-level Human Resources and Office Assistant to support personnel documentation, assist with recruiting-related coordination, and handle day-to-day administrative duties, including benefits and workers’ compensation administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel documentation covering staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
- Request and review information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to help determine applicants’ employment acceptability.
- Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications and eligibility.
- Coordinate job vacancy advertising or postings and notify eligible workers of available positions.
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants.
- Maintain employee records, including addresses, weekly earnings, absences, sales or production figures, supervisory performance reports, and dates and reasons for terminations.
- Support the administration of employee benefit programs and workers’ compensation plans.
- Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate candidates.
- Notify job applicants of employment acceptance or rejection.
- Complete day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining information files and processing required paperwork.
