Job summary

Quevera is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our People Services team in Columbia, Maryland. This HYBRID role offers hands-on experience across onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, benefits administration, reporting, and employee support.

Reporting to the Director of People Services, you will maintain HR records, process changes, assist with benefits enrollment, and help ensure an exceptional employee experience while handling confidential information

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • 0–2 years of HR, administrative, or related professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use HR and business systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
  • Prepare HR documents, forms, and communications.
  • Process and track employee changes (hiring, compensation, status).
  • Assist benefits enrollment and related activities.
  • Respond to routine employee questions and escalate when needed.
  • Support HR reporting, data tracking, audits, and record reviews.
  • Coordinate with Staffing, Security, Payroll, IT, and other departments.
  • Provide admin and project support to the Director of People Services.

Job Description:

Quevera is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our People Services team in Columbia, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to build hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.

Reporting to the Director of People Services, the Human Resources Administrator will provide day-to-day support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, employee records, HR systems, benefits administration, reporting, and employee support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with confidential information, and committed to providing an exceptional employee experience.
