Job summary

Bud Antle, LLC is seeking an HR Administrator to support frontline plant operations. The role handles data management, onboarding/offboarding, policy interpretation, and training coordination.

Strong bilingual English/Creole communication is required to assist staff across shifts. The position reports to the HR Supervisor and requires accurate record-keeping, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple HR tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employee information is entered and updated accurately in employee and attendance databases and systems.
  • Ensure documentation is filed, processed, and service requests are met timely.
  • Assist with locker assignments and locker-related issues.
  • Assist with employee issues and inquiries (payroll questions, complaints) and escalate as needed.
  • Conduct and assist with New Hire Orientation.
  • Assist with scheduling onsite interviews.
  • Assist with coordination of Employee Events and Activities.
  • Assist with bilingual translations for documents as needed.
  • Assist with HR-related training and retraining.
  • Update employee boards and communication venues.
  • Follow all Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to position.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Title: Human Resources Administrator


Salary Range: $24.00 -$24.50 Hourly


Status: Non-Exempt


Location: Springfield, OH


Reports to: HR Supervisor


GENERAL DISCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Must be bilingual/biliterate in French Creole and English.


Reporting to the Human Resources Supervisor, this role assists with and performs the routine Human Resources (HR) duties in the areas of policy interpretation, training, on-boarding, off-boarding, and data management. Supports all HR functions for the frontline workforce in the Plant.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION:


  • Responsible for ensuring all employee information is entered and updated accurately in employee and attendance databases and systems

  • Responsible for ensuring documentation is accurately filed, processed, and requests for services are met in a timely manner

  • Assist with locker assignments and locker-related issues

  • Assist with employee issues and inquiries (complaints, personal issues, payroll questions, etc.) to ensure proper procedures are followed and escalated to higher level HR and Management staff as needed.

  • Conduct and assist with New Hire Orientation

  • Assist with scheduling onsite interviews as needed

  • Assist with coordination of all Employee Events and Activities

  • Assist with Bilingual translations for documents, statements, etc. according to language skills

  • Assist with HR-related employee training and retraining

  • Update employee boards and employee communication venues as needed.

  • Follow all Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to position

  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned


JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:


  • Previous administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Some human resources or payroll experience preferred

  • Knowledge of record keeping processes (filing, confidentiality of information, etc.)

  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel, Word, and Access

  • Proven skills in ability to work with accuracy and maintain confidentiality

  • Attention to detail and follow-through essential

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision

  • High-level customer service skills

  • Excellent communication ability with the ability to work effectively with diverse work force

  • Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures and accept constructive criticism

  • Must be bilingual/biliterate in English/Haitian-Creole


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to use phone, computer and other basic office equipment.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to stoop and bend.

  • Ability to talk or hear and lift up to 35 pounds.

  • Able to occasionally work in a cold environment (35* on Plant floor).


WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Flexibility to work varied hours.

  • Ability to travel as needed.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


  • High School Diploma or GED required. AA or B.S. Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience considered.
