Job summary

Appliedcontrol is seeking an on-site HR Administrative Professional in Centennial, Colorado. Responsibilities include maintaining HRIS records, onboarding, recruiting administration, LMS management, and supporting the HR team on reports and office obligations.

The role requires 1–3 years of HR admin experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), and a clean driving record. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, and generous PTO.

  • Experience using an HRIS, LMS, ATS; UKG and 360 Learning preferred.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to drive between locations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with visitors, employees, managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data, including new hire information, job changes, transfers, status updates, pay adjustments, termination and recognition awards.
  • Support onboarding by coordinating pre-employment activities, assisting with I-9 completion, and coordinating onboarding activities for a smooth first day.
  • Assist with recruiting administration: job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, travel bookings, pre-employment checks, and career fair support.
  • Provide administrative support to learning and development: manage LMS activities, upload videos and courses, maintain user records, assign training, and coordinate onboarding schedules.
  • Create and manage a job description library and send exit interview materials; catalog results.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Serve as a backup to the office coordinator, covering general office and reception duties.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including invoice processing, file management, and special projects.

  • Support the onboarding process by coordinating pre-employment activities, assisting with I-9 completion, coordinating onboarding activities ensuring a smooth and positive first-day experience.
  • Assist with recruiting administration, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, booking candidate travel, pre-employment check coordination and supporting career fair workloads.
  • Provide administrative support to the learning and development team by managing LMS-related activities, including uploading videos and courses, maintaining user records, assigning training, coordinating onboarding schedules and logistics, running and distributing reports, supporting onsite training logistics, and handling general LMS administrative tasks
  • Will create and manage a job description library.
  • Will send exit interview materials and catalog the results.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Serves as a backup to the office coordinator covering general office and reception duties in the office coordinator’s absence.

Compensation and Benefits
  • This is a administrative level, non-exempt position with a base hourly rate. The pay range is $27.00 to $35.00 per hour and will depend fully upon skills and direct experience.
  • This position is eligible to participate in standard benefits which currently include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K with a match and a generous PTO plan.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role is typically performed in a professional office environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment and may require prolonged periods of sitting and standing, working at a computer, and communicating by phone, video, email, and in person. Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, bend, twist and move items up to 25 lbs. independently as needed. Must be able to drive between locations. This is an on-site role based in Centennial Colorado, requiring a 5-day standard workweek.
