Job summary

BQC Foundry is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to manage day-to-day HR needs in a manufacturing facility. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and at least 5 years of HR or employee relations experience.

You will handle employee relations, benefits, leaves, onboarding, and policy administration, while maintaining records and supporting supervisors on performance issues. A proactive, floor-level presence is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR or employee relations experience is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Strong knowledge of benefits, FMLA, attendance and HR compliance.
• Ability to independently manage daily HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with manufacturing HR processes is a plus.

BQC Foundry is seeking an experienced, bilingual Human Resources Specialist to independently manage the day-to-day HR needs of our manufacturing facility. MUST SPEAK SPANISH, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THIS REQUIREMENT.

This is a hands-on position for an HR professional who is comfortable working directly with employees, supervisors, and management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, approachable, confident handling employee relations matters, and able to manage multiple HR responsibilities with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary day-to-day HR resource for employees and supervisors.

• Coordinate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and new-hire paperwork.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with annual open enrollment.
• Coordinate FMLA and other employee leave programs.
• Maintain confidential personnel records and required HR documentation.
• Assist managers and supervisors with employee performance and workplace issues.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
• Plan employee recognition programs and company events.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility.

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual – English/Spanish required
• 5+ years of Human Resources or employee/labor relations experience
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits, FMLA, attendance, and HR compliance.
• Ability to independently manage daily HR responsibilities and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to adjust priorities quickly.
• Comfortable working directly with employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Previous manufacturing HR experience strongly preferred.
• College degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Experience with B&L Odyssey and Paylocity is a plus.
