Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our healthcare team, strengthen employee engagement, and help foster a positive workplace culture.

This role partners with department leaders on employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and compliance with federal and state laws. You will coach managers and ensure accurate HR records while supporting resident-focused care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience required.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department leaders on employee relations, performance management, and staffing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and workplace concerns.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Manage employee benefits administration and assist staff with benefit-related questions.
  • Oversee leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, unemployment, and other employee leave programs.
  • Ensure personnel files and HR records are accurate, organized, and compliant.
  • Support employee recognition, engagement, and retention programs.
  • Coach managers on performance concerns, corrective action, and employee development.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports quality resident care.

What You'll Do
