You will manage full lifecycle HR including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, employees relations, and HRIS data, with a focus on engagement, retention and process improvement in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of progressive HR experience, including leadership.
  • Experience managing full-cycle HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Manage full-cycle HR operations for site employees, including recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Administer HR programs and processes related to compensation, time and labor, payroll, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and compliance.
  • Conduct employee relations activities, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes in alignment with policy and employment law.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, personnel records, HR reporting, compliance documentation, and required training or certification records.
  • Partner with site leaders and corporate HR to support talent needs, employee engagement, succession planning, policy communication, and HR process improvements.
  • Manage workers’ compensation cases, HR audits, employment inquiries, and ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Job Summary

A growing organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking a Human Resource Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This management-level HR role is ideal for a well-rounded human resources professional who enjoys owning daily site HR operations while partnering closely with leadership to support employees, strengthen compliance, and improve the overall employee experience.

The Human Resource Manager will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, leave administration, workers’ compensation, HRIS data, and compliance. This position offers meaningful visibility with site leadership and corporate HR, along with the opportunity to influence engagement, retention, talent development, and process improvement across the business.

Compensation and Benefits
  • - Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
  • - Employment type: Direct hire.
  • - Location: Gainesville, FL.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • - Manage daily site HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS.
  • - Lead workplace investigations, corrective action processes, employee relations matters, and performance management support.
  • - Partner with site leadership and corporate HR to align HR programs with business needs, employee engagement, retention, and talent development.
  • - Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, compliance documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • - Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, wage and hour, and related employment requirements.
  • - Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR management or HR leadership experience.
  • - Working knowledge of compensation, benefits, payroll, leave administration, performance management, employee relations, and core HR operations.
  • - Experience using HRIS and talent management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate data and use HR reporting to support business decisions.
  • - Strong employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, investigations, corrective action, and performance management.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive or complex information professionally.
  • - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, establish credibility, and partner effectively with managers and employees at all levels.
  • - Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business software.
  • - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with site leadership and corporate Human Resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • - Professional Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • - Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.
