Job summary

GEODIS Logistics LLC is seeking an Human Resource Generalist to support daily HR operations, advise managers on employee relations, coordinate recruiting efforts, and drive onboarding through orientations and engagement meetings.

The role collaborates with HR leadership to address recurring issues and leads HR-related supervisory and management training to strengthen the wider organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations that affect human resources functions
• Advises front line supervisors and managers on appropriate approaches to resolving employee relations issues
• Plans and conducts new employee orientations to support a positive attitude toward company goals and an effective hand-off to operations
• Facilitates and documents employee engagement meetings
• Partners with HR leadership to ensure critical or recurring issues have a resolution plan
• Leads supervisory and management training focused on HR-related topics
• Responds to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, procedures, and programs
• Manages non-exempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through first level supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs
