E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami, FL is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to manage people operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This onsite role supports the employee lifecycle from recruiting to onboarding, benefits, performance, and compliance, fostering a team-first HR culture.

You will partner with managers, source candidates, conduct interviews, perform background checks, and oversee onboarding including I-9 and E-Verify, while maintaining Dayforce records and assisting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of HR generalist experience, hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to help keep people operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. This onsite role in Miami, FL supports the employee lifecycle from recruiting to onboarding, benefits, performance, and compliance, with a team-oriented HR culture and strong people-first benefits.

What you’ll do
  • Partner with hiring managers to anticipate and plan staffing needs ahead of start dates.
  • Source and attract candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, job fairs, schools, and other channels; create and maintain internal and external job postings.
  • Pre-screen, interview, and assess candidates, then provide hiring recommendations to managers.
  • Conduct background and reference checks, prepare offer letters, and support the hiring process through offer.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, including Form I-9 and E-Verify, new hire paperwork, and system setup.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment sources such as job boards, agencies, and schools; schedule and attend job fairs as needed.
  • Prepare recruiting statistics and reports.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and managers on HR policies, procedures, and general HR questions.
  • Support employee relations by documenting concerns, aiding investigations, and preparing corrective action documentation in partnership with the HR Manager.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files, and process employee changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and terminations) in Dayforce.
  • Assist with payroll support by reviewing timekeeping, verifying employee data, and resolving discrepancies with managers.
  • Help with benefits enrollment and administration and respond to benefits questions.
  • Support leave of absence administration, including FMLA, and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Track performance review completion, including 90-day introductory reviews.
  • Coordinate required training, certifications, and compliance programs while maintaining training records.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including required postings and record-keeping.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support employee separations.
  • Assist with employee engagement and recognition programs and events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 to 4 years of HR generalist experience, including recruitment (hospitality experience is preferred).
  • Proficiency with Dayforce and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse individuals and all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Good judgment and ability to make timely, sound decisions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm working with changing priorities.
  • Creative, collaborative team player who can also work independently and contribute across teams and committees.
