Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting and interviewing programs; advise on candidate selection and exit interviews
• Develop and deliver orientation and training for new hires

• Explain benefits and guide enrollment workflows
• Ensure legal compliance with federal/state HR requirements and maintain records
• Maintain HR policies and procedures; update guidelines as needed
• Maintain HR records and filing systems for past/current employees
• Oversee onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations for accuracy/timely
• Review payroll processes and implement improvements for efficiency

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is currently seeking Human Resource Director/ Payroll.

Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Manages the payroll process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain organization staff by managing recruiting and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
• Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
• Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
• Inform employees of benefits and assist and direct for enrollment process.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
• Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
• Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
• Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate and timely.
• Critically review and analyze current payroll; implement changes leading to best practice operation.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accuracy with timecards.
• Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including position openings, overtime, hours worked, etc.
