Job description

Job Summary

We're seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator is responsible for managing people transactions, systems, processes, and policies, including onboarding and offboarding of associates, throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about HR, continuous process improvement, and customer service. This role involves providing guidance to associates in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner, requiring self-motivation, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Leadership qualities and a passion for HR are essential for success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR activities related to employee relations, talent acquisition, training, performance, compensation, and benefits administration for all associates.
  • Work with the HR team on recruiting and retaining top talent, including developing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Support inquiries from associates, managers, and supervisors regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle new associate onboarding, including paperwork, I-9 verification, and pre-boarding activities.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation covering badging, parking, benefits, policies, and answer questions from new hires.
  • Maintain accurate associate data in ADP-Workforce Now, including new hires, terminations, organizational changes, and personnel data.
  • Compile and format reports from ADP for various projects.
  • Assist in processing weekly and biweekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Promote positive employee relations and morale through appropriate practices.
  • Investigate employee concerns, collaborate with leadership, and follow up appropriately.
  • Provide coaching and leadership support to managers for problem resolution and management skill development.
  • Support managers in administering company policies and ensuring equitable treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements
  • Familiarity or comfort with recruiting for manufacturing and production roles.
  • Proficiency with HR systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, industry best practices, and employment laws.
Education and Experience
  • Knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Experience in supervising or managing direct reports is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent education and 1-3 years of HR experience.

This is an onsite role in Eden Prairie, MN; remote work is not available.
