Position Summary
The Ghoman Group is seeking a professional and organized Human Resource to oversee human resources operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and employee development. The ideal candidate will be a people-focused HR professional who can work closely with hotel leadership and employees to maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related matters.
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and employee training programs.
- Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns.
- Assist with payroll, attendance, scheduling, and employee timekeeping processes.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Handle employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace procedures.
- Monitor employee performance reviews and assist managers with corrective actions when necessary.
- Support employee retention and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate benefits administration and communicate benefit information to employees.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Assist with workplace investigations and resolution of employee concerns.
- Prepare HR reports and provide management with recommendations regarding staffing and employee matters.
- Partner with hotel leadership to maintain a professional and positive work environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
