HP is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to influence the usability and user experience of our physical products and systems. You will conduct usability studies, translate insights into practical designs, and work with design, engineering, and product teams to ensure user-centered solutions that meet business goals.
The role requires strong research skills, experience in both qualitative and quantitative methods, and the ability to lead validation activities across development stages.
This role is responsible for shaping the usability and overall user experience of physical products or systems. The role requires a strong blend of human factors expertise, research rigor, and user empathy. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to create user-centered design solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives. The role conducts thorough user research to uncover insights, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable design solutions.
The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
