Job summary

HP in the United States is seeking a Product Manager to guide the development and success of software products. The role acts as the customer advocate, bridging engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development cycle from definition to GA, ensuring quality and schedule.
  • Understand the overall market, competitors, and open source technologies.
  • Translate market and stakeholder needs into product requirements and definitions.
  • Elicit detailed business requirements through engaging workshops and clear functional design documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to guide feature development and prioritization.
  • Translate user requirements into executable feature items with the software engineering team.
  • Advocate for stakeholders during specification and development stages.
  • Lead business readiness activities, including end user training, product testing, and rollout.
  • Drive process changes based on analysis of operational data and user behavior.
  • Guide the team through execution by monitoring milestones and deliverables.

Education & Experience

  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
