Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management.
• Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and answer questions.
• Operate a cash register.
• Follow all company policies, cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
• Communicate pricing, inventory issues with management.
• Protect all company assets, stock merchandise in stores and backrooms.
• Isolate, sort and organize damaged and outdated products and inform management of out-of-stock situations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized store (sweeping, dusting, trash removal).
• Place stock orders, receive freight, load/unload trucks.
• Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor.
• Assist in inventory and reconciliation of variances.
• Perform related work as assigned.

Sales Associate Key Responsibilities
