Job summary

Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation (SHCC) is seeking a Voucher Specialist to support payment processing and HUD compliance. You will review HAP vouchers, reconcile tenant data, and provide professional support to Owners/Agents by phone and email.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, data entry in SHCC's STARS system, and ensuring timely task completion while adhering to HUD and SHCC standards. A hybrid schedule is available in the Austin, TX area.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and customer-focused
• Spanish language proficiency required
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Responsibilities

• Review monthly Housing Assistance Payment vouchers for accuracy and compliance
• Cross-check tenant certification data with voucher line items
• Provide clear, courteous support by phone and email to O/As
• Create and maintain payment processing records per HUD and SHCC standards
• Enter case information into SHCC's STARS system and track workflow
• Ensure compliance with HUD policies and SHCC QA protocols
• Manage monthly deadlines for HUD payments
