Job summary

Schochet is seeking a Portfolio Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance Team in Braintree, MA. The role focuses on ensuring HUD and Federal Management standards are met, including annual and interim recertifications, and maintaining accurate tenant files.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of HUD Section 8 experience, a COS certification, and familiarity with YARDI. This full-time position requires in-person work five days a week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with HUD’s Project-Based Section 8 and Tax Credit required.
• COS certification and experience with YARDI compliance software preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete annual and interim resident recertifications and collect documents.
• Verify income, assets and medical information.
• Perform reexaminations and compute interim rent changes.
• Maintain and audit tenant records to HUD standards.
• Know and apply EIV and TRACS processes for HUD compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
