Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups, and uphold safety, productivity, and attendance standards. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership to foster cooperation across the organization.

Position is Sunday - Thursday with responsibilities spanning safety compliance, resource management, and staff development. A bachelor's degree or international equivalent is preferred, and management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and proactive communication.
• Implement employee development plans to ensure growth of department personnel.
• Provide orientation, skills and safety training, materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
