Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervising professional to manage and train Package Handlers, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of performance and attendance.

Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent with management experience preferred. This is a permanent, on-site role in Cerritos, CA.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent – Preferred: Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Provides leadership and cultivates positive relationships with all levels of personnel.
• Implements employee development plans to ensure continuous growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and proactive coaching for staff.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
