CENTRAL TRANSPORT LLC in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Hub Operations Lead to oversee terminal dock operations in a fast-paced LTL environment. You will manage loading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight, directing up to 30 drivers and dock staff to meet production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, DOT/OSHA compliance, and a high aptitude for technology. Shift is 4:00pm–2:00am, Monday–Friday, with a competitive salary of $65,000–$80,000 and full benefits.

• Oversee hub operations for your designated section of the terminal dock
• This includes the process of loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight
• Manage up to 30 LTL road drivers and dock personnel to achieve a designated production schedule
• Utilizing your independent judgement to build loads based on available labor and freight levels
• Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dock workers and dock hand
• Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded
• Monitor hours and overtime
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
• Ensure company operational model compliance
• Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers

LOCATION: 540 Gimblin Road, Saint Louis, MO 63147 Shift: 4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday-Friday Salary: $65,000-$80,000

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry)
• Familiar with customs and cross-border transportation
• Strong leadership qualities
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service
• High aptitude for technology
• The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
