Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Hub Operations Lead for our Port Reading, NJ hub to oversee daily hub functions, order fulfillment, inventory control, and team leadership.

You will collaborate with stores, hubs, PDQ and suppliers, manage paperwork, train staff, and uphold company standards while maintaining accurate inventory levels and timely shipments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be competent at oral and written communications.
• Prior retail experience including basic merchandising and inventory management.
• Ability to drive forklift if certified and applicable.
• Stable work record and performance history.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends and short notice shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hub operations and ensure timely resolution of hub orders and processes.
• Direct and delegate work to hub team members (Hub/Loop Drivers and Hub Inventory Specialist).
• Review hub orders, pull parts, stage product, and finalize paperwork.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party drivers on logistics and paperwork.
• Engage with store network to determine sourcing and fulfillment options.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and manage pricing changes and planograms.
• Ensure adherence to hub records and policies; communicate risks to leadership.
• Lead replenishment stocking activities and ensure 24-hour completion of tasks.
