Job summary

West Marine is seeking a delivery/fulfillment support role in California to assist hub operations and ensure excellent customer service. The position emphasizes safe vehicle handling, accurate order fulfillment, and clear communication with customers and management.

Responsibilities include loading vehicles, documenting deliveries, assisting with in-store purchases, and maintaining organized packing/shipping areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support Hub fulfillment operations and maintain functionality in absence of Hub Manager.
• Collaborate with Hub Manager to prioritize, process, and fulfill orders; assist customers and managers for a great shopping experience.
• Load vehicles and use routing apps to deliver and pickup products; maintain safe handling and timely deliveries.
• Document all deliveries using company-provided technology; communicate vehicle issues to Hub Manager.
• Execute order picking, packing and shipping to meet SLAs for omni-channel orders; keep packing/shipping areas organized.
• Assist customers with in-store purchases, product selection, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Support restocking and product placement; perform additional tasks to support Hub and Store operations.
