Job summary

Chobani is seeking an HTST Operator (Grade 6) on C Shift (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, every other weekend required). You will oversee pasteurization, maintain accurate documentation, and keep the work area clean and compliant.

Responsibilities include safe operation, charting, validating CIP flows, tracing product from raw milk to cream, and coordinating with QA, maintenance, and production leads. This role requires a high school diploma, GMP knowledge, and physical ability to lift 75 lbs and work on

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Understanding the HTST system.
• Follow GMPs.
• Understand CIP system.
• Work with maintenance and ISDA audits during audits.
• Maintain clear and positive communication.
• Able to walk on wet floors, lift 75 lbs, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace; report safety issues to your lead or supervisor.
• Document charts legibly and accurately; keep records up to date.
• Check seals; report broken/missing seals to supervisor or QA.
• Print and verify CIP records; monitor temp, flow, titration, and time trends; swab if needed.
• Perform cut in/out validation before production and document clearly.
• Understand product flow from Raw Milk Silo to maturation tank and cream silo.
• Have basic knowledge of reverse osmosis membrane systems.
• Track whey flow from KDB to clarifiers to silos and the Whey RO system.
• Start up and shut down the Whey RO system and CIP the system.
• Understand the separator’s role and operation.
• Pull samples for QA testing Butterfat in skim and cream; report deviations.
• Maintain communication with KDB and Starter Room.
• Coordinate with fruit room to ensure cream tote needs are met.
• Sterilize cream totes prior to filling; enter tote placard data.
• Collaborate with leads and maintenance to troubleshoot problems.
