Job summary

Chobani is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform timely repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment including filling machines, metal detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers and pasteurizers.

Qualified applicants have 2-5 years in a food production/manufacturing setting, can read mechanical/electrical drawings, and can operate CMMS/EAM systems. You must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work long shifts while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in a food production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting filling, packaging or processing equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must follow safety, GMP, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment quickly and accurately.
• Interact with operations personnel; communicate clearly at all levels.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide guidance and technical support to operations.
• Investigate root causes and drive continuous improvement.
• Follow standard work orders and maintain high accuracy and quality.
• Identify safety and FSQ issues and report them promptly.
• Comply with EHS and company policies and procedures.
