Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the D shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) to repair and preventively maintain dairy processing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read schematics, and follow GMP/OSHA standards in a high‑pace plant.

The role requires interaction with operations, use of CMMS/EAM, and a focus on reliability. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in food manufacturing, a technical credential, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2–5 years in food production/mfg with repair/troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and use manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment quickly and accurately and drive root-cause fixes.
• Operate and maintain filling lines, packaging equipment, pumps, and motors.
• Follow safety, GMP, OSHA and FSQ standards at all times.
• Use CMMS/EAM to manage work orders and document actions.
• Collaborate with operations to improve reliability and efficiency.
