Job summary

Solventum, formed from 3M Health Care, seeks a Classification Analyst to lead HTS classification, regulate data accuracy, and monitor regulatory changes. You will train operations teams, own classification rules, and coordinate with brokers to ensure compliant reporting.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with HTS policies across multiple geographies. Hybrid work with travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with 5+ years in HTS classification.
• Highschool/GED with 9+ years in HTS classification.
• Experience applying HTS rules and GRIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on HTS and government reporting requirements.
• Own tariff classification rules and maintain data accuracy.
• Monitor tariff classification changes and communicate updates to brokers.
• Communicate complex regulatory information clearly and support decision making.
• Establish trade policies aligned with regulatory changes and risk.
• Engage with national and local agencies to influence regulatory activity.
