Job summary

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, seeks a Classification Analyst to drive HTS classification practices and regulatory compliance. You will engage with operations and brokers globally, maintaining data accuracy and monitoring regulatory changes affecting trade.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, interpretation of rulings, and effective communication. Hybrid work with travel up to 10% domestically/internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of HTS Classification experience.
• OR Highschool/GED AND 9 years of HTS Classification experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance on HTS and government reporting requirements to operations and business units.
• Own tariff classification rules and maintain data accuracy.
• Monitor tariff classification changes for designated regions and communicate updates to external brokers.
• Communicate clearly and analyze issues to enable better decision making.
• Apply regulatory knowledge to establish trade policies aligned with changes, risk, and impact.
• Monitor country trade regulatory activity and liaise with national/local agencies.
• Drive process optimization to improve regulatory compliance and business effectiveness.
