Solventum is seeking a Classification Analyst to lead HTS classification, regulatory compliance, and data governance. The role involves monitoring classification changes, maintaining data accuracy, and liaising with brokers and regulatory bodies to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong HTS background, cross-functional collaboration skills, and experience with SAP GTS/Tradeflow.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of professional experience in Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification.
• OR Highschool/GED AND 9 years of professional experience in HTS classification.
• US Licensed Customs broker or equivalent in a foreign jurisdiction
• In-depth knowledge of HTS classification rules (GRIs) and concepts like “essential character”
• Ability to interpret customs rulings, engineering drawings/schematics and communicate technical information clearly
• Experience with SAP GTS and Tradeflow is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Provide ongoing training and direction to operations and business units regarding HTS and other reporting requirements
• Own tariff classification rules and maintain data accuracy
• Monitor tariff classification changes and update databases and brokers
• Communicate clearly to enable improved decision making
• Establish trade policies aligned with regulatory changes and risk
• Serve as liaison with national and local agencies
• Drive process optimization for compliance and business effectiveness
