Job summary

HMH is seeking an HSSE Intern in Houston for a 12-week program from May 24 to August 13, 2027. You will support compliance initiatives, gain exposure to global HSSE practices, and develop digital tools to track inspections and tasks.

The role requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree with Engineering or Safety majors preferred, a 3.0+ GPA, and strong written and verbal communication. No visa sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program with Engineering or Safety majors preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a digital system to assign and track HSSE compliance tasks.
• Analyze HSSE data to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Establish a digital process to track HSSE inspections.
• Participate in the annual HSSE risk assessment review.
