Job summary

Percheron LLC in Katy, TX is seeking an HSE Intern to support health, safety and environmental programs. You’ll gain hands-on experience in compliance, risk assessment, training, and data analysis while working with experienced HSE professionals.

You will assist with incident reporting, audits, training coordination, records management, and emergency planning, contributing to safety improvements and a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be in the final two years of the degree program.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incident tracking and reporting (OSHA and MIS data).
• Support compliance audits and maintain safety records and documentation.
• Monitor adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule safety training (OSHA, First Aid, CPR, MSHA).
• Maintain training matrices and track certifications and expirations.
• Provide technical support for online training platforms.
• Participate in HSE and ESG committee meetings; assist with notes and actions.
