Redpath is seeking an HSET Advisor to lead health, safety, environment and training across surface and underground mining projects. You will interface with MSHA and state inspectors, provide day-to-day safety leadership, and guide implementation of all HSET procedures to support safety-first operations.

Key duties include coaching the workforce, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating incident investigations with MSHA and clients.

Competenze

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• CMSP certification preferred.
• MSHA Instructor Surface and Underground.
• Incident Investigation Training.
• Redpath Train the Trainer qualified.

Mansioni

• Ensures site compliance with Redpath standards, MSHA/OSHA standards, ATF regulations, applicable state regulation and client requirements.
• Participate in and educate personnel in the Redpath Safety Program and Fatality Prevention Program.
• Communicate, coach, and assist the workforce to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met.
• Uphold the RUSAC HSET strategy for Health, Safety, Environment & Training.
• Assists with investigations relating to serious accidents or serious injuries, coordinates with site leadership, MSHA and client as needed during these situations.
• Support & train personnel in Incident Investigations for basic / root cause analysis.
• Supporting employees and supervisors in conducting risk assessments.
• Ensures all departments are aware of obligations with respect to compliance to legislative and client requirements, and conditions of the project contract and licenses.
• Provide support to the project by maintaining a constant visible presence in the field performing underground site visits to the entire project area of responsibility.
• Briefs project leadership team and supervision of any new or conflictive legislative matters that could impact the project.
