Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking an HSET Field Specialist to deliver and audit training programs for underground operations, safety protocols, equipment operation, and emergency response. The role ensures consistent training that meets organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will assess trainee competency, certify competencies, and collaborate with safety and operations teams in Utah to maintain high safety performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in underground operations and safety requirements.
• Certified trainer with relevant underground qualifications.
• MSHA/CMSP credentials and incident investigation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and audit training programs for underground operations and safety.
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and documentation.
• Conduct on-site training sessions and workshops for individuals and groups.
• Assess trainee competency through practical and theoretical evaluations.
• Provide certifications upon successful completion of training programs.
• Ensure all training complies with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with management, safety personnel and operations leaders to align training with goals.
