Job summary

Redpath seeks an HSET Advisor to lead health, safety, and training across surface and underground mining projects, liaising with MSHA and state inspectors under the direction of the HSET leadership.

The role involves implementing RUSAC HSET procedures, guiding operations, conducting investigations, training staff, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations, client requirements, and Redpath's safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• CMSP preferred.
• MSHA Instructor Surface and Underground is preferred.
• Incident Investigation Training.
• Redpath Train the Trainer qualified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site compliance with Redpath standards and MSHA/OSHA standards.
• Educate personnel in Redpath Safety Program and Fatality Prevention Program.
• Coach workforce to meet safety expectations.
• Uphold HSET strategy for Health, Safety, Environment & Training.
• Assist investigations into serious incidents and coordinate with MSHA and client.
