Job summary

MMR Group is seeking an HSE Trainer to support safety and compliance by ensuring training requirements are current, accurately documented, and tracked. The role maintains training records and coordinates required safety training.

An associate degree is preferred; at least 2 years of related experience; strong MS Office skills; travel to project sites may be required. Pay is $36.00–$45.00 per hour for a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative, training coordination, or safety-related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee training records and databases.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update district training matrices by craft, role, project, and client requirements.
• Monitor training expiration dates and proactively notify employees and supervisors of upcoming renewals.
• Coordinate and schedule required safety training courses, orientations, certifications, and refresher training.
• Verify training compliance for new hires, transfers, and project assignments.
• Generate reports on training completion, deficiencies, and compliance status for management review.
• Maintain accurate documentation of OSHA, client-specific, and company-required training records.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and client compliance reviews.
• Work closely with project management, field supervision, and HR to ensure training requirements are met.
• Support district safety initiatives, meetings, and special projects as assigned.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee records and training documentation.

Position Summary

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites.
• Standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed to support training and operational requirements.
