Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE/Safety or 1–3 years in Heavy Civil construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel overnight or long distances.
• Ability to work under deadlines and pressure.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations preferred.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conducts site observations for safety compliance and adheres to company policies.
• Assists Operations with pre-planning safety through risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
• Prepares training documents to ensure OSHA, MSHA, DOT documentation is in place.
• Develops site-specific training materials and conducts training.
• Performs incident investigations.
• Oversees OSHA and MSHA inspections and related training.
• Conducts new hire orientation.
• Travel extensively to field sites.
