The position requires extensive travel to field sites, on-site safety observations, risk assessments, and incident investigations, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HSE/Safety related Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience in a HSE/Safety role; OR no degree with 1-3 years of experience in Heavy Civil construction.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel overnight or long distances on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Conducts site observations for safety compliance and adheres to company policies.
• Assists Operations with pre-planning safety into all situations through risk-assessment and controls.
• Readies and provides training documentation to ensure OSHA, MSHA, and DOT documentation is in place.
