Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a full-time safety professional to ensure compliance with safety policies across field sites. The role involves developing training materials, conducting safety training, and new hire orientation, with extensive travel to project sites.

You will perform site observations, risk assessments, incident investigations, and coordinate OSHA/MSHA/DOT documentation, supporting project teams and safety program improvements.

Qualifications

• HSE/Safety-related Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience in a HSE/Safety role; OR no degree with 1-3 years of experience in Heavy Civil construction.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies across sites and develop training materials.
• Conduct safety training, new hire orientation, and toolbox talks.
• Perform site observations, inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and post-accident reviews.
• Coordinate OSHA, MSHA, and DOT documentation and training.
• Oversee subcontractor safety programs and onboarding.
• Travel frequently to field sites and participate in project planning.
• Provide safety expertise to project teams and procure safety equipment.
• Attend morning huddles and safety-related meetings.
• Support ongoing safety communications and program improvements.
