You will develop training materials, conduct safety training, and lead new hire orientation, while performing on-site observations and inspections across field sites.

Qualifications

• HSE/Safety bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years in safety
• Or no degree with 1–3 years in heavy civil construction

Responsibilities

• Conducts site observations for safety compliance and adheres to company policies.
• Assists Operations with risk assessments and controls.
• Prepares training materials and ensures OSHA/MSHA/DOT documentation.
• Performs incident investigations.
• Attends morning huddles and project planning meetings.
• Conducts post-accident drug screens.
• Oversees subcontractor safety compliance.
• Purchases safety equipment when needed.
• Travels extensively to field sites.
• Performs other duties as required.
