Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Site HSE Specialist to join our Forest Park plant, working with the site HSE Manager and leadership to support Health, Safety and Environmental programs and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

You will lead HSE initiatives, manage environmental reporting and permits, deliver employee training, and coordinate with regulators. This onsite role requires a proactive, self-directed professional who can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related discipline.
• CSP or ASP certification is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE programs and compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Manage environmental regulatory reporting and permit activities at multiple levels.
• Conduct safety incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and communicate with site leadership and inspectors.
• Support continuous improvement and risk reduction initiatives across the plant.
