Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Site HSE Specialist at the Forest Park plant to drive health, safety, and environmental programs and ensure compliance with HSE and fire protection requirements. You will report to the plant HSE Manager and partner with site leadership to keep people safe and operations compliant.

You will lead safety initiatives, regulatory reporting, and training across federal, state, and local levels while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related discipline.
• CSP or ASP certification is highly preferred.
• OSHA Safety Training Courses such as 501 and 511.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Experience with EPA, RCRA, Tier II, and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Coordinate environmental reporting and management of permits at federal, state, and local levels.
• Conduct site HSE assessments and address non-compliant conditions.
• Develop training and communication to support regulatory requirements.
• Drive HSE process improvements and risk-reduction initiatives.
