Job summary

Michels Energy Group, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an HSE Safety Coordinator II to conduct site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response while supporting compliance and training programs.

Travel up to 75% regionally to projects across the United States; requires 3 years safety experience and 5 years in oil or gas; bachelor’s preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a safety role.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs through meetings, trainings, and orientations.
• Travel to projects across the United States up to 75% of the time.
