Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings, Inc. seeks a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.

You will help support operations by communicating and enforcing HSE programs through meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations, with travel across the United States. The role requires at least 2 years in a safety role and 5 years in the oil or gas industry; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; a valid driver license;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Experience in building substations preferred.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired).
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States
• Ability to work 30 days on and 10 days off rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of existing HSE programs by performing meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations.
