Job summary

Leoforce in Oregon seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, workers' compensation, and risk management at a large-scale manufacturing facility. You will drive a proactive safety culture, strengthen environmental performance, and develop high-performing teams.

You will partner with site leadership and hourly/salaried employees to advance safety, environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• 8-12+ years of progressive HSE experience in manufacturing or similar complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience leading safety and environmental programs at a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and training skills.
• Proven ability to influence employees and leaders at all levels.
• A hands-on, action-oriented leadership style balancing long-term strategy with day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's HSE strategy, programs, initiatives, and performance goals.
• Drive a proactive incident-prevention culture protecting employees.
• Establish leading and lagging safety metrics and incident rates.
• Lead hazard identification, risk reduction, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee energy control/LOTO, contractor safety, audits, and safety systems.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Reduce workplace incidents, claims, costs, and liabilities.
• Lead environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee air emissions, wastewater, solid waste, chemical management, and permitting.
• Develop and strengthen environmental management systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external organizations.
