Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental health & safety (EHS) or related field.
• Minimum of two years of environmental, health, and safety compliance experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, presenting, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DHS and applicable regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulations, develop procedures, maintain records, and communicate technically.
• Ability to adjust schedule to meet shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HSE department and collaborate with internal teams to meet safety goals.
• Lead safety initiatives, identify hazards, and provide reporting tools for visibility and action.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, DHS).
• Analyze HSE metrics, audit results, and incident trends to identify improvements.
• Oversee safety training programs and emergency preparedness activities.
• Develop and maintain safety programs (respiratory protection, PPE, etc.).
• Coordinate internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit environmental, health, and safety reports and regulatory filings.
• Represent the company during regulatory inspections and audits.
