Job summary

BRPH is a technically focused architecture, engineering, and construction firm seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple construction sites.

The role supports mission-critical programs in a highly technical, secure environment on-site at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and surrounding locations in Florida. Expect strict adherence to OSHA and USACE standards and the need to pass federal background checks and obtain site badges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• CHST or similar HSE certification and EM-385 training.
• 10+ years construction HSE experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to pass federal background checks and obtain security clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Informs project teams of HSE requirements and ensures incorporation by subcontractors and construction personnel.
• Implements the HSE MS Program per policies, processes, and client regulations.
• Leads meetings with customers and contractors to discuss mitigation plans and HSE training.
• Develops and maintains site-specific training materials and programs.
• Stops work in dangerous situations to prevent adverse HSE impacts.
• Advises on work practices before field activities commence.
• Conducts incident investigations and reports with corrective actions.
