Job summary

Taylor Group Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to develop, implement, and supervise safety, environmental, and regulatory programs in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with management to foster a proactive safety culture, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement.

The role involves incident investigations, risk reduction, training delivery, and environmental compliance across the facility. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HSE in manufacturing/industrial environments is preferred.
• Experience delivering safety training and managing OSHA compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs and procedures.
• Inspect workplace, perform risk assessments, and manage corrective actions to ensure compliance.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate preventive actions.
• Coordinate and deliver training on OSHA standards, PPE, lockout/tagout, and crane operator safety.
• Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, and training certifications.
• Support environmental compliance programs including waste management and reporting.
• Develop emergency response plans, drills, and continuity procedures.
• Prepare safety and compliance reports for leadership review and KPI tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ISO-related activities.
