Job summary

Safran Aerosystems USA in Wall Township, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join the North American Evacuation Systems team. You will manage HSE documentation, training, and regulatory compliance while supporting safety programs across the site.

The role covers environmental reporting, incident investigations, risk assessments, and carbon-reduction initiatives, with travel around 10%. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles within industrial environments.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience with training delivery and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage HSE document management systems, including distributing controlled documents and records.
• Deliver comprehensive training on regulatory and company-mandated topics to employees.
• Develop and maintain safety programs in line with company policies and regulations.
• Prepare and submit federal, state, and local HSE/environmental reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company standards.
• Update HSE documentation and support ISO 14001 alignment.
